You only have one chance to make a first impression… make it count! Here are some tips to help you with the interview process.

• Research our company. We are looking for candidates who are interested in McLeod Health and not just finding another job.
• Practice Interviewing. Prepare interview questions in advance so that the tough questions will not throw you off guard during the interview.
• Dress for Success. No Jeans!!! Business professional attire is required.
• Be on Time. Arrive for the interview 20 to 30 minutes early to allow for anything unexpected.
• Make eye contact and have a firm handshake. Eye contact shows that you are interested while a firm handshake lets us know that you are confident.
• Speak clearly and look interested. Don’t allow your mind to drift, stay with the interviewer.
• Stay positive. Avoid making negative remarks or complaining.
• Ask questions. Make sure your questions are important to you and your decisions without sounding too pushy.
• Send a Thank you note. Follow up the interview with a neatly hand-written note thanking each person for taking the time to talk with you and restating your interest in the position.
