Employees are immediately eligible for savings at the on-site McLeod Employee Pharmacy. McLeod Health subsidizes the cost, so prescription medications and over-the-counter items can be purchased at discounted rates.
Employees are immediately eligible for programs at the on-site McLeod Child Development Center. Services for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years are available. Fees may be payroll deducted. Special tax saving features are available through the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account.
Health & Fitness Center
The 100,000-square-foot facility features health and fitness programs for every member of the family. Special membership rates are available for McLeod Health employees and immediate family members.
Health Facilities Credit Union
The Health Facilities Credit Union offers many services including checking accounts, Christmas and Vacation Clubs, direct deposit of your paycheck, credit cards, a payroll deduction savings plan and loans. The Credit Union also provides automated teller machines, at various locations in our community.

On-Site Cafeterias and Meal Discounts
Because hospitals are a 24-hour operation, the Nutrition and Food Service Departments operate our full-service cafeteria during all three shifts, seven days a week, at most of our campuses. Employees receive a discount by showing your hospital ID card at the cashier.
On-Site Employee Pharmacy
On all McLeod campuses, you have access to the employee pharmacy. McLeod Medical Center Darlington and McLeod Medical Center Dillon access the employee pharmacy through a convenient courier service. Over-the-counter medicines and sundry items are available at a discount. If you are benefit-eligible, you also have the convenient option of paying for prescriptions by payroll deduction.
How about a convenient way to shop for yourself and others? Come browse at the gift shop for an assortment of reasonably priced gifts, fashion items, flowers, cards, reading materials, toiletry items, and other conveniences.
There is no charge for you to park on any of the McLeod campuses. Ample employee parking is available on all shifts.
Since three-fourths of our employees are female, McLeod Health recognizes the critical role women play in our workforce. We also recognize the challenges a new or expecting mother faces with her new baby. That is why we have created a “Mother Friendly” workplace for both expecting and new mothers. This program offers assistance to new mothers returning to workwho want to continue to breastfeed. Rooms and equipment are available for you to pump your breast milk in a clean, private, and quiet environment. It is available days, evenings, nights, andweekends, until you and your baby are ready to wean. McLeod provides a pump and an opportunity to join a working mother’s support group.
